Looking for a Swedish casino with the best chance of winning? Start with the game and the outcome you mean. A bet on red in single-zero roulette has a very different chance from a bet on one number. A casino’s name tells you neither of those probabilities. Our Chance Ladder puts outcomes on a common scale, from familiar single-round bets to rare lottery jackpots.
The Swedish phrase casino med störst vinstchans means “casino with the greatest winning chance”. We use that question to compare actual game rules, payout information and practical casino terms. Choose a casino below, then check the version of the game you intend to play. The main comparison is in Swedish; this page explains how to read it in English.

What counts as winning?
There are three useful questions. How often does a bet pay anything? How often does it return more than the total amount staked? How likely is the largest advertised prize? Those are separate events. A game can pay small amounts frequently while its maximum prize remains extremely rare.
Imagine staking SEK 10 and receiving SEK 4 back. There has been a payout, but your net result is minus SEK 6. If a slot’s published hit rate includes this kind of result, it does not describe your chance of making a profit. The same distinction matters for scratchcards that return their purchase price and for rounds with several simultaneous bets.
Before comparing two percentages, finish the sentence “the chance of…”. Add the exact outcome, the stake and the unit: one spin, one hand, one ticket or one draw. If those details differ, the percentages need an explanation before they can be ranked.
The Chance Ladder: one scale, clearly defined outcomes
Chansstegen
Hur ovanligt är ett bestämt utfall? Positionerna följer en logaritmisk skala. Varje steg åt höger betyder en större skillnad i antal försök.
Vinstbeloppen skiljer sig. Stegen jämför de namngivna utfallen, inte lönsamhet. Lotto-reglerna ändras den 4 november 2026; läs vår daterade jämförelse.
The ladder displays “1 in X” alongside percentages. A smaller X means a more frequent event; it does not mean a larger payout or a better expected financial result. The scale spreads out rare events so that a lottery jackpot does not get visually compressed next to a routine table-game bet.
| Defined outcome | Probability per attempt | What the number means |
|---|---|---|
| Red, European roulette | 18/37, approximately 48.65% | One red bet, one fair single-zero spin |
| One number, European roulette | 1/37, approximately 2.70% | One straight-up bet, one spin |
| Seven correct, Swedish Lotto | 1 in 6,724,520 | One simple line in one Lotto draw |
| Five plus two correct, Eurojackpot | 1 in 139,838,160 | One simple line in one draw |
The roulette calculations assume equally likely pockets, using the single-zero wheel described by Evolution. The lottery figures come from Svenska Spel’s own Lotto prize table and Eurojackpot prize table. Neither lottery figure means “win any prize” or “be the only jackpot winner”.
Why RTP does not tell you the chance of a winning round
Return to player, or RTP, describes expected money returned relative to money staked. It is a long-run average, as the Gambling Commission explains. A displayed RTP of 96% is not a 96% chance of winning your next bet, and it is not a promise to return SEK 96 from your own SEK 100 session.
Here is an invented example. Game A pays SEK 18 on half of all SEK 10 bets. Its expected return is SEK 9 per bet, or 90%. Game B pays SEK 90 on one tenth of all SEK 10 bets. It also returns SEK 9 in expectation, yet winning payouts happen much less often. The same RTP can coexist with different payout frequencies.
That is why we keep expected return, hit frequency and maximum-prize probability separate. A useful comparison needs the relevant payout table as well as the probability. A screenshot of a large win cannot supply the missing distribution.
How to compare games at Swedish casinos
For roulette, check the number of zeros and the payout rules. American roulette adds a double zero. Some roulette variants change payouts or add multipliers; the familiar wheel does not make every version financially identical. Our Swedish casino-game guide explains individual bets and the difference between a winning bet and a profitable round.
For blackjack, note the exact table rules and what strategy a quoted theoretical return assumes. A hand can be won, lost or pushed, and splitting can turn one starting hand into several wagers. An overall “winning chance” for the entire category would hide those choices. Evolution’s blackjack overview documents several variants with different features.
For baccarat, distinguish Banker, Player and Tie. For video poker, read the paytable and the strategy assumptions. For slots, check whether a reported hit means any payout or an amount above the stake. If a manufacturer has not published the probability of the highest prize, neither the maximum multiplier nor RTP lets us reconstruct it.
Bonuses, withdrawals and registration
A welcome offer changes the promotion’s conditions; it does not automatically change the probability attached to a game’s outcome. To compare offers, look for the qualifying deposit, wagering requirement, its calculation base, expiry and any maximum bet. Read the current offer before making a deposit. Our casino bonus guide separates those terms from game probabilities.
Withdrawal speed is another separate question. A stated processing time needs a starting point: request submitted, request approved or transfer sent. Account verification and the payment method can affect the journey. The withdrawal comparison provides that practical context rather than treating “instant” as a universal promise.
A streamlined registration flow also leaves the game’s mathematics unchanged. The page about casinos with simplified registration explains the Swedish wording. Choose the service features that matter to you, then examine the actual game rules independently.
What about Swedish lotteries and scratchcards?
A lottery’s general prize chance and its jackpot chance can point in opposite directions. Eurojackpot can be more likely to pay some prize per line while Lotto is more likely to produce all correct numbers. Ticket cost, prize size and shared winnings add further differences. A per-line comparison is not the same as a comparison per krona.
Scratchcard editions have their own finite prize plans. A plan may include prizes that only return the ticket price, and qualifying symbols may lead to a later prize draw. A full comparison therefore needs both stages before claiming an exact chance of the largest final prize. The lottery and scratchcard guide keeps those boundaries visible.
Calculate repeated attempts without assuming a guarantee
For independent attempts with a constant probability p, the chance of at least one hit in N attempts is 1 − (1 − p)N. With a 20% chance per attempt, five attempts produce a 67.232% chance of at least one hit. They do not produce a certainty. The expected number of hits is one, but a particular series may contain none or several.
The independence assumption matters. Cards drawn without replacement and tickets selected from a fixed finite pool need a different model. Identical lottery lines in the same draw also share the same outcome. Repeating the same line does not create another possible winning combination.
Use the probability calculator to convert percentages and “1 in X”, or explore repeated independent attempts. Its fair decimal odds are a mathematical equivalent, not a casino’s offered payout. The method page explains source selection and calculations. For the full Swedish comparison, return to Casino Störst Vinstchans.
